AniWaya

AniWayaWhat a dramatic year! With the blizzard starting the year off, numerous subterritories sustained severe damages, and some were lost entirely. Residents of AniWaya Village sought refuge in the Town Hall as the blizzard took with it the Spirit Oak, all huts and parts of the Stables - along with the lives of some tribesmembers. The long-time friendship with Phoenix Valley was strengthened as re-building efforts across both packs were instigated, and resulted in a brand new, impressive stables complex! When Phoenix Valley disappeared and its members moved to Ichika no Ho-en, remnants of the friendship followed to the new pack.

A somewhat quiet late spring preceded the dramatic events that hit our tribe in mid-July. With Dawali's demotion and Maska at the reigns, the alliance with Crimson Dreams is nixed, and the brutal war that causes tensions in the south. Tribesmembers flee and fear for the safety of their children. Cour des Miracles involves themselves as they rush to secure the freedom and safety of relatives in AniWaya. As the conflict escalates throughout most of the fall, it eventually results in an invasion and occupation on October 17th, where AniWaya's losses are devastating. Severely crippled and occupied (or liberated?) by enemy forces, they find a new leader in Ulilohi Ehn just as winter hits, and Cour des Miracles and Crimson Dreams retreat from AniWayan land. Ulilohi is decisively different from Dawali in her leadership style, and the tribe likely has many changes ahead of them.
