Crimson Dreams

2010 was a prosperous year for the Crimson Dreams pack. In early spring, two litters were welcomed into the pack: one by Savina and Kansas and the other by Anu. Additionally, an orphaned pup named Denali found his way to the Dreaming lands and was adopted by the Commander and her mate. The pack had its paws full as the seven pups grew and began to explore and get into mischief around the lands, though no great anxieties were caused. In April however, the large old barn collapsed and caused some panic as Cambria was trapped inside. A rescue effort was launched and proved successful, but Ghita sustained some serious injuries and took most of the rest of the year to recover. Despite the loss of Old Red, the area soon was revitalized as Tallermein’s Cottage. Built from the wood of the fallen barn, it often hosts wild goats that wander through the territory.

Some more big changes came to Crimson Dreams as Savina decided that their old system of military ranks were not suitable to the feeling and values that the pack was built upon. Digging into her Italian heritage, she found information of the Ancient Roman Republic and made a new system of ranks based on that history. A new mateship was quietly formed between Mati and Cambria, and the Dreamers welcomed yet another litter from Ghita and Jazper at the end of October. Despite some hardships and changes, Crimson Dreams remains the happy, strong bound place that it has always been.
