AniWaya

2010 has been a relatively calm year for AniWaya. The second Dahlian war didn't graze the peaceful tribe, though some individuals aided one faction or the other on their own despite urgings from the leadership to remain uninvolved. The headcount stayed stable throughout the year, and more and more faces from the Great Tribe arrived, aiding the spread of traditional ceremonies and customs. The brutal murder of Noir Aston in May 2010 marked several tribesmembers permanently. Though action would have been taken to uphold justice, it was served by another hand, and the murderer, Haku Soul, was punished without involvement from AniWaya.

Outside of this event however, life was calm: Ember stepped down as sub-leader during the summer due to pregnancy, and fall brought opportunities to use Cow (the tribe's captured bull) for breeding cattle after a successful trade with Phoenix Valley by Liliana. October brought troubling, though perhaps insignificant, news; the Great Tribe had chosen a new Chief, giving rise to the question of AniWaya's standing and their own Chief in relation to it. The long-term members of the tribe proved themselves dedicated as new Masters of the professions arrived in mid-December, and new mateships bloomed throughout the fall, perhaps culminating in puppies for next spring? All in all the year has been calm and prosperous, slowly crawling towards an even more self-sufficient community with a distinct and well-developed culture.
