A Year in Review

A summary of 2019 events!

'Souls celebrated its golden birthday this year, turning EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD! That means the board is officially an adult now! :O There have been a whole lot of wild rides and incredible plots once again this year, and we're looking forward to more in 2020!

Throughout March, mysterious sightings of hairless creatures stealing clothing from hapless Luperci were reported in remote areas of the region...
At the end of March, following weeks of torment and tragedy at the hands of a group of loners hellbent on revenge, Cour des Miracles disbanded after reigning for nearly 10 years.
On June 12th, Del Cenere Gang formed and claimed their territory around the northernmost shores of Moosehead Lake.
On August 17th, New Caledonia formed and claimed their territory in western Cape Acadia.
Only a month after forming their new pack, New Caledonians began experiencing a number of mysteries within their newfound territory.
Casa di Cavalieri hosts a diplomacy summit near the end of October, inviting representatives from every pack within their borders.
Following the untimely deaths of several of their Sanctum members, Salsola launched an inquisition that carried on throughout much of the year.

We made some updates to our Loner Group system, changing its name to Loner Bands, increasing the number of players and played characters, separating visibility on our Game States page, and adding pin markers to the map.
A new channel, #wiki-collab, was added to the 'Souls Chat Discord server!
In order to help out staff and allow other members a chance at some free art, a couple of new rules were added to our 'Souls Soldier of Love spotlight. Winners must now claim their avatar within 5 days of the announcement and any member who wins 3 months in a row will be unable to win again for 3 months.
We made some exciting new changes to our setting and thread prompt generator by creating a multitude of new scenarios, categorizing prompts by setting and biome, and adding a whole new option: moods!
Four new Catacombs skulls were added to the list, giving members more fun achievements to aim for!
