2019 has been a exciting year for Casa di Cavalieri. The year kicked off with a bang with the pack’s adoption drive and SSWM. In the spring we explored the dangers of Dragon Tail Trail, in an event where Quinn Damaichu’s adventurous nature got her into trouble. After a dangerous storm, and search of the Dragon Trail, the Damaichu girl was thought to be lost. Thankfully, shortly after Luca announced the end of search efforts, she arrived back home.
Towards the summer we focused on OOC updates. To continue encouraging members to be diplomatic with all, we opened up Ambassador positions for Loner Bands. Housing options were extended to include areas outside of the Fort, for members of Officer ranks to own. A horse auction was run to continue to give back to our members, and foster the Cavalier herd. Teagan Stryder lead a construction initiative, building more space for Casa’s growing population of owned birds.
In the fall we saw an unusual increase in the deer population, leading to destruction of the natural open spaces in the pack-lands. To help relieve this problem the Cavaliers worked together to hunt, trap, and use much of the deer. The Hunters Feast marked a celebration of Casa’s ongoing prosperity. Shortly after, Casa hosted a Diplomacy Summit, inviting all packs of Souls to join them for a celebration of peace, and an opportunity to form and strengthen bonds.
In the winter the pack also said goodbye to Darkness Hushhowl, who passed of old age, and Teagan Stryder who decided to move her young family New Caledonia. To finish off the year Casa celebrated with a small Secret Santa event. With so many beginnings and ends, who knows what next year will bring.

Her line of work was complex and abstract. Some wolves may think her job was unhelpful at best and dangerous, by giving false hope and promises, at worst, but for the Officer it granted some sense of peace.
